• The entire amount of plastic waste managed and supervised by PWP needs to be made available to the Central Pollution Control Board via their portal.
• There is a provision for the generation of separate certificates for category-wise plastic packaging. Also, the inclusion of the GST data of the processed or recycled materials sold by plastic waste processors.
• As per the 3rd module of the plastic EPR portal, exchange of EPR credit must take place between PIBOs and PWPs.
• In case the plastic packaging waste processed or recycled by plastic waste processors beyond the installed capacity must not be taken into consideration for issuance of PWB certificates.
• The plastic waste processors need to file annual returns on the plastic packaging waste collected as well as processed in the direction of meeting EPR obligations under PWM Rules. It must be done as per pro-forma prescribed by the Central Pollution Control Board by the 30th June of the next financial year.
• It must be ensured that the plastic waste processors are not associated with any activity related to manufacturing, stocking, selling, distribution, and even usage of banned SUP items.
• The SPCB can debar PWP at any stage if it came across the fact that the information shared by PWP is false. This is applicable in case of business operation under the EPR framework for a time frame of one year.
• All the plastic waste processors must adhere to provisions of PWM Rules and conditions prescribed under Consent to Operate.
